Bq to Ci: how the conversion works
1 Ci = 3.7 × 10¹⁰ Bq · 1 mCi = 37 MBq · 1 μCi = 37 kBq
One becquerel is one nuclear transformation per second. Divide an activity in Bq by 3.7 × 10¹⁰ to obtain Ci. For Ci to Bq, multiply by the same value. The unit dpm means transformations per minute; 1 Bq = 60 dpm.
Activity is distinct from absorbed dose (Gy), effective dose (Sv), and detector count rate (cps). A count-rate reading needs a measurement model and detection efficiency before it can be interpreted as activity.
Example: 370 MBq = 10 mCi. The unit relation is exact; displayed results are rounded to six significant figures.
